Large teak wood sconcewall light by Danish architect Henning Wind-Hansen. Hansen made a name for himself as a furniture designer for the Danish manufacturer SIKA Møbler in the 1960s. These are very tall impressive pieces, very well made and in great condition. The removable front piece hides a pair of E14 lamp sockets. Stunning light effect and a very elegant wall light that measures a full 44 cm in height.
These large and super rare teak sconces are absolutely stunning.
Designer Hening Wind-hansen designed these in early 1960s.
Long elegant lines.
So amazing.
It looks like a sculpture on the wall and when lit they look just amazing.
In good shape with signs of wear on the back of 1.
These are high quality lamps.
Henning Wind handcrafted these himself. After going third in a design competition for Voss he started to produce this design in wood instead of metal. You can detect slight traces of XI and XII on the insides of the lamps.
