This is a beautiful and original “Madame” chair designed by Fritz Neth, manufactured by Correcta in Germany around 1950.
The original fabric is red, short-haired mohair like fabric, and there is wear to the upholstery consistent with age and use. The foam interior has some light surface deterioration (crunching) as one might expect, and there is some creasing to the fabric in those areas. The legs are finished in chrome, with patina.
This chair has four metal legs, outwards pointing. The seat and back are molded from the same piece and curved into an ergonomic shape Seating height: 44cm.

Patina consistent with age and use, Light wear consistent with age and use, Requires reupholstery, New upholstery would be advised for regular use; for us it presents well with its own vintage character, and shows considerable charm.

Next to this chair we have a Fritz Neth sofa (see pictures), this one will also be upholstered.
