Table lamp VIP was originally designed in 1983 by Jørgen Gammelgaard for Design Forum and was immediately recognized for its architectural qualities. Gammelgaard was the first designer to receive the annual awards from both the Danish Design Council (1986) and The Council for Arts and Crafts (1991).
Stunningly designed resembling an Asian Conical hat tilting to direct the light accordingly. Elegant and practical, the sheer weight of the solid steel Lamp Base ensures that the Lamp Shade pivots effortlessly with the touch of a hand.
Multi adjustable shade – hand made in aluminium and carefully wet painted. Base made in wet painted solid steel and the arm in brushed stainless steel. Porcelain fitting. Lightbulb not included. Lamp is heavier than you would think. Diameter of the shade is 35 cm.
