Mid Century W.H. Gispen for Kembo – “model 302” set of 2 chairs
The 302 armchair was created in the 1950s by W.H. Gispen designed for Kembo. Kembo is an abbreviation for Kom Eerst Maar Bij Ons, which means Come first to us. Kembo was founded by Willem Gispen and Ru Meijer in 1953.
The Kembo 302 armchair was awarded in 1954 at the Italian “Triennial”.
The blue vinyl upholstery of the 2 chairs is original 1950s and shows signs of age and wear (see the photos). The frame is made of chromed steel.
Price is for two chairs.
