A fantastic shelf system designed by Cees Braakman and manufactured by Pastoe in The Netherlands around 1960. The piece has three white wooden back panels to which the 12 shelves hang using black metal shelf holders. The minimalist and modern style of the piece is iconic for Braakman’s famous “Japanese series”. Modular as there are more black metal holders and you could hang shelves as you like.
The complete backframe can be hung on the wall because of the superbly thought out hanging system. Each backframe has its own hardwood bars to hang from.
